Shoppable Emails transforms standard marketing emails into instant purchasing experiences. Customers can browse products and complete checkout directly within their inbox, eliminating the multiple steps that typically lead to cart abandonment. By removing the friction of clicking through to websites and navigating separate checkout flows, brands can capture sales at the moment of interest while gaining valuable direct purchase data from their email campaigns.
I partnered with product managers and developers to launch this B2B solution, using A/B testing to optimize design and performance. I also worked directly with major brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Secret, Nectar, and Frette to create customized email designs that increased sales and strengthened client relationships, contributing to successful adoption.

The Design Solution
The shoppable email design recreates the complete e-commerce experience directly within the inbox, eliminating the need for customers to navigate to external websites. Users can view high-quality product imagery, select variants like color and size through interactive dropdowns, adjust quantities, and complete their purchase using Skipify's integrated "Buy Now" button that enables one-click checkout.
This approach addresses the core friction point by compressing what traditionally requires 5-7 steps (email click, page load, product selection, add to cart, cart review, checkout initiation, form completion) into a seamless 2-click experience. By keeping customers in their familiar email environment and removing decision fatigue from multi-page navigation, the design captures purchase intent at its peak moment while providing brands with direct conversion data tied to specific email campaigns.
